Customer records, imports and history.
- How do I add a customer?Open Customers and choose Add customer. You can enter a name, email and phone. Customers also appear automatically when someone requests a quote or buys.
- How do I import customers?Choose Import customers in Customers, upload a CSV or Excel file of names, emails or phone numbers, review the preview, then import.
- How do I search for a customer?Use the search box in Customers to search by name, email or phone.
- Where do I see a customer’s quotes and orders?Open the customer in Customers to see their quotes and orders and when they became a customer.
- What does Unnamed customer mean?It is a customer record with no name yet, for example someone who started a chat and has not given a name. You can edit the record and add one.
- Can I edit or correct a customer’s details?Yes. Open the customer and choose Edit customer.
- What is a repeat customer in analytics?A customer with more than one order. Analytics shows the count of repeat customers for the period.
- What is an inactive customer in the daily brief?A customer who has not ordered for a set number of days. The brief lists them with their last order date so you can follow up.
- Does Anchor keep customer data separate from other businesses?Yes. Every business’s data is isolated by row-level security and independent API authorization; another business cannot see your customers.
- Can customers see each other’s information in chat?No. The assistant answers from your catalog and the current conversation, not from other customers’ records.
