Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not do with Pinevon services, so they stay safe and available for everyone.

Draft — pending legal review. This document is a complete working draft prepared by the Pinevon team. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and no effective date has been set. It describes how the service is actually built and operated today; bracket-free wording is deliberate, but jurisdiction-specific terms must be confirmed by qualified counsel before it is relied on.
1. Purpose
This policy applies to everyone who uses the Services. It is part of the Terms of Service. We may act on violations as described below.
2. You must not
- Break the law, or use the Services to plan, promote or carry out illegal activity.
- Upload, store or send content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative (especially of minors), or that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or unsolicited bulk messages, including through channels connected to a Pinevon product such as WhatsApp or Messenger, contrary to the channel’s own rules.
- Access, probe or attempt to breach accounts, data, systems or networks that are not yours; bypass authentication, rate limits, tenant boundaries or access controls.
- Scan for vulnerabilities, run load or denial-of-service tests, or scrape the Services without our written permission (except good-faith research under our Security Disclosure Policy).
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or other users, or use them to attack third parties.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or extract source code, models, prompts or knowledge bases except where the law permits.
- Use the Assistant or AI features to generate harmful content, to attempt prompt injection or extraction of other customers’ data, or to make automated decisions with legal effect about people without appropriate human review.
- Impersonate a person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with Pinevon.
- Resell or provide the Services to third parties except as a plan expressly allows.
- Share account credentials or create accounts by automated means.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for what you and the people you invite do in your account, for lawful messaging to your own customers, and for obtaining any consent needed to process their personal data.
4. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe this policy is violated we may remove content, rate-limit, suspend or terminate access, report to authorities and take other steps needed to protect users and the Services. We aim to give notice and a chance to fix the problem where the risk allows, but may act immediately for security, legal or safety reasons.
5. Reporting abuse
Report abuse or a suspected violation to security@pinevon.com or legal@pinevon.com. Include links or screenshots and how to reach you.
