Quick start: Anchor in an afternoon

From a new account to a working assistant on your website, in five steps.

Before you start: A Pinevon account.

What you will have at the end

A business set up in Anchor, some products in the catalog, a branded widget and a tested assistant. You can do the first pass in an afternoon; accuracy improves as you add detail.

The five steps

  1. Create your business: name, country, currency, language and timezone.
  2. Optionally add your website and logo.
  3. Add products by hand or import a CSV or Excel file.
  4. Brand the widget and copy the install snippet into your site before </body>.
  5. Use the Test step to ask the assistant real questions about your products.

What to do next

  • Set stock counts so availability answers are real.
  • Connect a messaging channel your customers already use.
  • Open the daily brief tomorrow to see what needs attention.
