Import your catalog from a spreadsheet

Use CSV or Excel to add many products at once, with a preview before anything is saved.

Before you start: A spreadsheet with at least name and price columns.

Steps

  1. Open Products (the Catalog page) and choose Import Catalog.
  2. Choose your CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file.
  3. Choose Preview. Anchor reports how many rows are ready and how many need attention.
  4. Fix any flagged rows in your file if needed and preview again.
  5. Choose Import. Products with an existing SKU are skipped and listed.

Tips

  • Keep one product per row.
  • Use one column per field (name, price, sku, category, stock).
  • Remove blank rows and merged cells before importing.

If a row needs attention

The preview shows the row number and the reason, such as a missing name or a price that is not a number. Correct it in the file rather than in Anchor.
