Test your assistant before customers do

A short checklist of questions that reveal gaps in your catalog.

Before you start: Products in your catalog.

Ask the questions customers ask

  • Is this in stock, and in which sizes or colours?
  • How much does it cost?
  • What is the difference between these two products?
  • Can you send me a quote for these items?
  • Something you sell that is not in the catalog. It should say it does not know.

What to look for

A good answer uses your own product names, prices and stock. A hand-off is fine when the data is missing. An answer that sounds confident but is not in your catalog is a bug worth reporting.

Fix what you find

Most gaps are missing data. Add the description, attribute or stock, then ask again.
